- Leads the “Finding” design team which works to improve the
finding experience of our worldwide community (eBay users conduct over 200
million searches per day). Coaches product design teams on working effectively
towards a common goal. Ensures teams consistently achieve stakeholders'
goals and deliver excellent results.
- Team performs the following functions: task analysis, wireframes, high-fidelity
mockups, information architecture diagrams, and development of interactive
prototypes.
- Works with all levels of management to prioritize improvements to the website
which improve the process of finding and buying items. Contributes to global
product strategy in this space. Prepare business cases for product improvements
(ROI).
- Leads the knowledge management effort in the UED organization and created
a system for collecting and sharing
best practices. Within 6 months, grew it to 1750 documents and over
400 weekly visits, all on a shoestring budget. Now expanding to other orgs
and globally.
- Led UI analysis at our Shanghai office over the course of several months,
identified product opportunities for eBay
China and trained local in-country team.
- Led or contributed to strategy work (outside Finding) including “Rich
User Experience”, site browser policy, shipping integration with USPS
& UPS, and adaptive user experience.

in order to gather team feedback and ideas. Defined business focused product
